Vendor spotlight -- The Yellow Bicycle

We have another lovely vendor to tell you about!  Kristi Parker is just starting up her Etsy shop The Yellow Bicycle, and she is excited to debut her high quality, helpful, and adorable items at The Wonderland Boutique!  Here's what Kristi has to say about her shop:

"I love sewing for functionality and for the everyday needs of women and mothers. I love creating beautiful, purposeful, everyday items.  I have been making car trash bags for friends and family for years and am just now getting up the courage to sell them as well.  My trash bags are perfect for collecting the litter that tends to collect in cars, but can also handle the sticky mess that comes with kids.  The trash bag can be used alone, or can be purchased with a heavy plastic insert. I will be stocking my shop as soon as this boutique has passed where there will be a lot more variety.  I am also working on a leather edition as well for those who prefer the sleek look.

"I have also designed a new "Park Your Phone" Caddy.  These little guys are lined with plastic and are perfect for keeping your cell phone tucked away while driving.  The campaign against distracted driving hits close to home so I'm doing my part to spread the message!

"And going along with the car theme, I am selling Car Lap Blankets with pockets - perfect for keeping fingers warm and for stashing little toys in.

"I'll also be selling Christmas felt confetti garlands for all the holiday parties coming up.
And last but not least, my super talented husband, Ben Parker, will be featuring some of his wood wizard wands in my display - perfect  for the Harry Potter fan.  He also loves custom orders: www.Nanumcreek.etsy.com"

Aren't these great items?  I know a couple boys in my house who are going to go nuts for those Harry Potter wands, especially!

And I have some great news -- Kristi is sponsoring our last giveaway before the boutique opens!  Just head over to our Facebook page and share the picture of her clever "Park Your Phone" caddy (it's pinned to the top of the page), then leave a comment to win!

Giveaway #7 -- Cascading Chevron Necklace from Saffron and Saege

There is a LOT of handmade and fashion jewelry out there, so it's always exciting to find an artist who makes truly unique pieces.  That was what first attracted me to Loraleigh Anderson of Saffron and Saege -- her lovely pieces are simple and understated, but full of unique personality.  Loraleigh started Saffron and Saege about 2 1/2 years ago as a creative escape from the daily duties of mommyhood.  She makes simple but pretty pieces that can be dressed up or down, worn with jeans and a t-shirt of a dress or skirt.  Her personal taste in jewelry is minimal and understated, and she loves being able to provide her customers with that kind of jewelry.

Here are just a few of her favorite pieces:

Today, Loraleigh is giving away this lovely raw brass cascading chevron necklace!  The winner will be able to pick up the necklace at the boutique.

Giveaway #6 -- "You Are My Sunshine" typography print from My Posh Designs

We've got another lovely giveaway for you!  Dana Gallant from My Posh Designs specializes in typography prints that are just full of personality.

Many of her designs can be customized -- order forms will be available at the boutique!

Wouldn't this sweet print be adorable in a nursery?

At the boutique, she'll also be offering these very sweet dainty lace headbands.  How adorable would these Minnie ears be on your little one at Disneyland?  They look so comfortable, even my 5-year-old might leave them alone.  And that would be a miracle.

And how about dressing up some plain Jane shoes with these spunky shoe clips?

My Posh Designs will definitely have a LOT to check out at the boutique.  But you don't have to wait to get in on the goodness -- Dana is giving away a high-quality 8x10 print of this happy "You Are My Sunshine" subway art!  So use the widget below to enter. Giveaway #5 -- le petit Macaron

Only 4 days left until The Wonderland Boutique opens its doors for the first time! We're so excited, and we have a LOT of fun plans and giveaways for these last few days. So stay tuned!

Our first giveaway this week comes from le petit Macaron -- don't you think these beautiful creations are nearly as fun to look at as they would be to eat? They are wonderful gifts and party favors. Here is the story of how they got started:

"We started le petit Macaron in 2011. After going to New York and trying macarons for the first time, we fell in love with them and were excited to come home and find some in Utah. They were difficult to find and the ones we tried didn't quite hold up to the ones from our trip. So our business began.

"If you haven't tried a macaron, you are missing out. Luckily for you, we will have many flavors for you to try at The Wonderland Boutique. Come enjoy some delicious French delicacies. Tell your Gluten Free friends these treats are made with Almond Flour, so they can enjoy them too!"

The winner of today's giveaway will be able to pick up a half dozen macarons at the boutique! So use the widget below to enter. If you share this giveaway on Facebook, make sure to check that option below and leave us a comment -- that's worth three extra entries!
